Once again the nightmare has started, new ETQWpro is out. Remember to disable 'default profile' before joining any ETQWpro server, to keep your config.

Like any well configured server, our server will give you the ETQWpro-files needed to play on a ETQWpro0.5-server. Just remember to disable 'Default profile' and to make the connecting part easier, please load etqw-mod before joining the server.

While it is not our place to condemn the decisions of Creative regarding this issue, our customers come first. That being said, it has come to our attention that many of our customers are not happy with the products Creative has released nor the support for those products. To wit, we have processed nearly 5,000 return orders within the past 48 hours. While it is not normally in our best interest to publically comment in a manufacturer's forum, the overwhelming concensus has left us little choice. As such, effective tommorow morning newegg.com will suspend sales of the sound cards in question, particularly those indicated as "Vista compatible", pending an investigation into the matter. Those of you whom recently ordered such a card will still recieve your product as indicated in any relevant conversations. While we regret this abrupt decision, it has been deemed neccessary to protect the interest of our consumers. We welcome contact from Creative as soon as is possible so that we may resolve this issue.
During development of punkbuster, some negative side effects has popped up.
The good side: Agressive scanning through memory for hacks and cheats
The side effect: If you as players has a chat program running during gameplay, people can send you a message, which looks like a cheat to punkbuster.
Punkbuster can't seperate code in memory pr. program, this means a mesage recieved duing gameplay could be registered as a cheat, even though the chat-program has nothing to do with the game you play.
Our recommendations are to shut down all chat program, including MSN, X-fire and IRC while you are in game. Also most of the chat programs has been in development, thus you can receive offline messages.

Cogent Communications and Telia has stopped all communication and coporation while disicussing payment of trafic. This will result in different routes to many servers europe and in the US.
